Born and raised in the Philippines, 21-year-old Singer-Songwriter & Content-Creator, Rafi, has always aimed to simply speak of authenticity through her voice. Whether it be through music or vlogging, she wishes to be a friend to all through her space on the internet.
She discovered her love for heartfelt melodies and storytelling at the early age of 5, as she began her journey with musical theater workshops, dance classes, and vocal studies at the Philippine National Artist (Ryan Cayabyab)’s music school.
After 8 years of partaking in numerous productions, Rafi found herself venturing into the world of songwriting. It was then that she familiarized herself with the craft of creating soulful songs that explore themes of love, self-discovery, human connection, and more. This led Rafi to her current pursuit of music, as an incoming fourth year student at the world renowned school for jazz and contemporary music, Berklee College of Music. She has been casted as a lead vocalist in many major shows such as the Great American Songbook: Girl on Fire—The Music of Alicia Keys (April 4, 2023), Singers Showcase 40th Anniversary Special: Holiday—Four Decades of Madonna (December 7 & 8, 2023), and The Great American Songbook: Dreams— The Music of Fleetwood Mac (March 6, 2025).
With the interplay of her distinctive sound along with her heartfelt lyrics, Rafi simply aims to use her voice as a tool for healing and connection— to exercise her ability to make others feel seen and heard. As someone who feels deeply, she highly values creating music with reason. Rafi has always described creating music and videos as her lifeline, and she only wishes to offer that said gift of creative work to her audience.
